TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ORDER CONFIRMATIONS
Once a purchase order has been received from you the client, British Crafts Lobby will send to you, your client order confirmation. This must be signed and returned within 7 days receipt of order confirmation date. Once an order confirmation has been signed and returned to British Crafts Lobby, your production slot will be confirmed within 24hrs and production will commence on arranged production date. Customers are therefore legally bound to accept / proceed with production slot provided and production orders. Unless cancelled within 7 days’ notice of signed, date on returned British Crafts Lobby order confirmation. This must be done in writing and verbally agreed between both parties.
Once production has commenced you are hereby liable for full production invoiced order amount (unless otherwise prearranged / agreed).
PROFORMA INVOICES
All invoices to be Pro Forma with new & existing customers unless otherwise agreed. Once an (proforma) invoice has been issued payment of invoice is due within 30 days of invoice date. Production will not commence until all proforma invoices are paid in full and or the goods will not be released to the customer until a full payment has been made to British Crafts Lobby (unless otherwise prearranged / agreed).
DELIVERIES & RETURNS
Damaged or defective goods - if on delivery goods are found to be defective in merchantable quality the customer must notify British Crafts Lobby in writing and verbally within 14 days otherwise no liability can be accepted by British Crafts Lobby.
Any returns or refusal of goods must be verbally agreed before any items can be returned.
All items received must be double checked by the receiver, as any goods reported after 14 days, are no longer the responsibility of the manufacturer.
All delivery arrangements are the responsibility of you the client. British Crafts Lobby can provide a courier service, this cost will be incurred by you the client. Any additional delivery charges will be added to the client’s final invoice(s). Clients may arrange to provide their own delivery/courier service.
CARE AND ATTENTION
Where, all care and attention to the customer’s fabrics and material are taken, at times there may be items that do not pass the (QC) quality control standard. We ask customers to expect within the production process to allow for a maximum of 5% damage ratio.

Any items over and above this ratio, where the customer has provided fabrics and materials, the customer will then be offered a credit/refund to the value of the fabrics once proof of purchase of said fabrics is provided. Credit note(s) will be valid for any future production within British Crafts Lobby and can be used at any time where an available production slot can be made.
Any materials supplied by the customer must be safe for use and free from risk to health; and comply with all statutes, rules, regulations, orders, codes or guidelines applicable under the general law to such materials. All material stored within the manufacturing facilities are insured under the British Crafts Lobby standard building insurance cover. All customer excess material should be return to you the customer once production has been completed. Any materials requested to be stored within British Crafts Lobby manufacturing facilities will be stored safely but at owner own risk.
SAMPLING
A signed, tech pack, pattern and sealed preproduction sample should be provided by you the customer prior to bulk production commencing. British Crafts Lobby cannot be held accountable for discrepancies within the production process if a tech pack and signed sealed preproduction sample have not been provided or signed off by you the client.
Once we have received returned signed preproduction samples and tech pack British Crafts Lobby’s manufacturing unit will be liable to produce to production standard, in accordance with our agreed production spec tolerance and damage ration (see customer handbook).
Where no spec(s)/ sample(s) have been provided / approved once production commences and or has been completed if on receiving the goods you the customer are not happy with the production spec/standard. British Crafts Lobby will not be held accountable for said discrepancies. We recommend that a signed approved sample(s)/spec(s), are provided at all times to avoid any production discrepancies. Intermittent samples can be requested during the production processes on request by you the customer (charged at bulk production price).
All samples requested are chargeable in accordance with our customer handbook, unless otherwise stated. All sampling charges will be agreed verbally and in writing before sampling commences. These charges will be added to your invoice.
Sealed preproduction samples, will be held by the manufacturer for production purposes only. These will be returned on request to you the customer on completion of said order. Where patterns have been developed for you within the manufacturing unit these said patterns belong to you the customer and can be returned on request at the end of each production.
